Welcome to the next installment in the chronicles of Will, the Wilmington land healing project!

Right out of the gate, let me say… where have all the posts gone? Seriously. When we say “life gets in the way,” we don’t usually mean 2 years of life getting in the way. I started writing this post many times in my head, only to redraft, wait, and redraft again. Today, I started with a blank page. Although I may be missing some details, it’s refreshing to get the keyboard to the “paper” and share an update.

Continuing the Chronicles of Will

Although it is tempting to dive right in to the amazing journey we took on Saturday February 18th, 2017, this journey actually began several months earlier. In the blazing heat of an August weekend in 2016, several troopers from the ASW experienced an amazing weekend at CWPN in Connecticut. During one of many connections, Jess spoke with Mark about his work with the land spirit named Will (you can read much more about this in prior blog entries). Jess was intrigued with the work. Having grown up in the area where Mark and others started this journey, she already had a deep connection to the land and many memories of times in the same or close locations. This also aligned with her (our) healing mission, extending it to the land in the areas surrounding home and work. Jess was excited to revitalize the connections that were forged in the earlier work and pick up the torch to carry it forward.
